Story of the Day: A woman receives a call from the hospital, learning that she lost her beloved sister and has two newborn nephews.

Linda waited in the hospital wondering if there was more to the tale since she couldn’t take it all in at once. “Where in the world is their father?” she asked herself.

“No matter what arguments you boys have, you should always stick together, through thick and thin.”

She found hundreds of texts and calls to a guy called Derek on Amanda’s mobile phone. It found out that after learning that Amanda was expecting, Derek had left town.

Before going into delivery, Amanda spent months alone and without assistance. Linda was reminded of her mother by this circumstance. Meredith also had to be a single mother since her husband had left her after Linda was born.

Linda vented by calling Tim and Gabby once again. “When I look inside the nursery and see those two baby boys, I remember how I was left at that group home,” she said. “It sounds like you know exactly what to do,” Tim said.

Linda left a last message for Amanda’s children’s father after speaking with Tim and Gabby.
