The first time Sheila Ryan met Elvis Presley, it didn’t feel like an introduction.
It felt like destiny.

It was Las Vegas in the early 1970s — a backstage world filled with movement, laughter, crew members, and performers brushing past one another. Sheila followed Joe Esposito down a narrow hallway, expecting nothing more than a polite handshake and a quick hello. After all, people met Elvis all the time. She was prepared to be one of many.
