“Season one was about learning each other’s habits and rhythms,” Reba explained. “Season two, we know each other.

The timing, the jokes, the energy — it’s all seamless. Our crew is phenomenal, and everyone brings their A-game. We laugh constantly, and that energy carries over to the camera.”

Melissa Peterman, who plays the bubbly Gabby, echoed Reba’s sentiments: “Working with Reba and the team now feels effortless.

We all understand each other’s quirks and strengths. The comedy is sharper, and the heartfelt moments hit harder because we trust each other.”

In addition to cultivating chemistry among the cast, Season 2 explores deeper character arcs.

Bobbie’s journey toward embracing her role as the tavern’s owner is paired with her efforts to reconcile with her half-sister Isabella.

Meanwhile, Emmett’s backstory and hidden motivations unfold gradually, giving audiences insight into the wisdom and emotional depth of his character.

Balancing Work, Life, and Holiday Excitement

Off-camera, Reba’s schedule is as full as ever. Alongside filming Happy’s Place, she continues her role as a coach on The Voice, mentoring contestants alongside Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, and Niall Horan.

“I’m having such a fun time with the contestants,” she said. “They’re talented, hilarious, and full of energy. Snoop keeps us entertained non-stop — it’s a blast!”

Adding to the festive cheer, Reba will make her first trip to New York City during the Christmas season, hosting and performing on the Christmas in Rockefeller Center special on December 3.

She will perform three songs, including a brand-new piece she has yet to record.
