Hard-boiled eggs are widely considered a nutritious and convenient food, often included in daily meals. However, health experts warn: consuming them incorrectly can silently trigger cardiovascular problems and, in some cases, even lead to life-threatening consequences.

Research published in medical journals such as the BMJ further highlights the risk: consuming even just 10g of eggs a day, or about 1/6 of a large egg, can increase the risk of coronary heart disease by up to 54%.
This isn’t just a theory. In one alarming case, a 30-year-old man in China was hospitalized after suffering a mild stroke. Despite eating fresh, clean hard-boiled eggs daily, he found cholesterol levels more than double the safe limit, from 5.1 mmol/L to 11 mmol/L. This incident serves as a wake-up call for those who believe hard-boiled eggs are harmless in any quantity.
