From an ordinary evening to an irreparable traged

It all started like any other evening. Petrit and Sabrina went shopping, but the tension that had been building up for months exploded in the car. In sentencing, Judge Kelly highlighted the contrast between what the parent-child bond should mean and the brutality with which it was destroyed.

“The bond between a parent and child is usually fundamental,” she said. “When that bond is severed in such a tragic way, the impact on the family and the entire community is immeasurable.”

His words went beyond the legal aspect and highlighted the contradictions in Petrit’s life – a father torn between a protective instinct and the destructive decisions that overwhelmed him that fateful evening in 2019.
